We welcome the new evaluation of Local Area Coordination in the London Borough of Havering, 2021, by Dr Sandhya Duggal.

This new evaluation reflects on the design, development, implementation and early outcomes of Local Area Coordination in Havering, as well as recommendations for ongoing learning and improvement into the future.

“This evaluation reveals the hard work, dedication and commitment that has gone into the successful implementation of LAC in Havering. These efforts have produced significant wins across a range of levels within Havering, including; ground level (residents and communities), systems (key partner buy-in, stakeholder engagement, inspiring new ways of working), and capturing impact (cost avoidance analysis), all of which have been achieved in a relatively short amount of time.” (p.4)
